Candidates Requirements

Must go back to school leaving age.

Passport, Biometric Residence Permit, EU ID Card, Visa or Birth/Adoption Certificate.

This is also known as Fit To Work. All Nurses and HCA’s are required to have a ‘Non EPP’ Certificate of Fitness before being placed. Serology reports are required to ensure the candidate has immunity to Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), HepB Immunity by either a Titre report showing level 100> or had their primary course recently and have had the TB vaccination (scar seen verification or Mantoux Heaf test result). Once the reports have been obtained, you can apply Certificate of Fitness via your chosen approved provider.

Statement of Entry, Monthly Checks (Nurses Only).

All candidates are required to have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS). Must be on update service.

Any candidates that have been overseas for more than 3 months in another country must obtain an overseas police check from that country. This is applicable within the last 5 years from date of application.

3 years’ worth of references, a Minimum of 2 References, nurse clinical: All Nurses and Health Care Assistants, you will have obtained references that cover the last 2 years (from application date) must have the most recent reference obtained. All references must be business verified (compliments slip / organisational stamp / email header). When designating a referee, please ensure that they are someone of a senior position to the candidate or a HR member of the organisation.

Please obtain proof of job seekers allowance (if in receipt) or a character reference. Character referees are acceptable in the following case:
a. Have known the candidate for at least 3 years (and state this on the reference)
b. Must be in a professional capacity (which needs to be stated and not state ‘friend’)
c. Must detail candidates competency and character
